So…it’s 47…46 days til Valentine’s. It feels good saying some number in the 40s than 54 days or whatever…All I know is that it’s just getting closer and closer. What seemed so far away…is coming soon.
Been feeling extremely sappy…and frisky the past few days. Ever since the holiday week started, pretty much…i think that’s how [...]

One In A Million

Posted by: chris and tina on: December 25, 2008

I’m freaking lost today. I was lost last night but yeah…woke up lost today too. Not real surprising if you ask me. I don’t really know what I’m doing today. Maybe go with my moms to my brother’s house…maybe go to my uncle’s for dinner…either way, it’s all empty for me. Going through the proverbial [...]

By Your Side

Posted by: chris and tina on: December 25, 2008

Wow…first off…Merry Christmas. Hope everyone is well and safe and warm and all that good stuff. I knew that these three+ months apart would be hard but damn…tonite was pretty hard to grin and bear through.
Sorry…had to smoke real quick. Anyways, my fam celebrates Christmas on the 24th, then heads to all the inlaws and [...]

(Everything I Do) I Do It For You

Posted by: chris and tina on: December 24, 2008

Merry Christmas everyone. To be honest…it doesn’t really feel like Christmas. I think I’m just still a lil’ lost out here. Tina’s sweet. She’s cooking Christmas dinner tomorrow for her fam. I’m here cleaning up. My fam celebrates everything tonight and does the in-law rounds tomorrow night. It just sucks that this really should’ve been [...]

Fall Into Me

Posted by: chris and tina on: December 21, 2008

Wow…a week has passed since my last entry. I guess alot has happened between now and then. I’m doing okay and Tina’s doing good. It’s been 29 days…pretty much a month since I left Lex and it’s still 53 days away until Valentine’s Day, when I get back to Lex.
This has been hard, no lying. [...]

You’re My Better Half

Posted by: chris and tina on: December 14, 2008

Last night was the harvest party in Lex. Sucks cuz we were supposed to go too but i’m here and not there so, you know the deal. Tina didn’t go, but she did end up going to White Castle a little while later and I guess everyone else who was at the harvest party must’ve [...]

Always Something There To Remind Me

Posted by: chris and tina on: December 12, 2008

My phone is finally back on…and I’ve started my Get back to Lexington fund. Sold the trusty beloved Tascam 788. We made Office Space on this thing and half of Eventide Revery. It’s good to finally be able to text Tina and be able to leave the house without feeling like I have no way [...]

Chicken Fried

Posted by: chris and tina on: December 11, 2008

Another long phone-less day. We’ve been talking as much as we can on chat and on the house phone, but it’s still not the same. I hate leaving the house and not having access to my celly.
Today was a bit of the same as yesterday; drove my pops to play tennis, talked to Tina for [...]

Hear You Me

Posted by: chris and tina on: December 10, 2008

So my phone is still out…and that really sucks. I miss texting Tina and hearing her voice. We did talk for a good bit today in the afternoon. That still doesn’t make up for beng 2400 miles apart but it does feel good to hear her voice and just to spend a couple of hours [...]

Taking care of business and working over time.In all seriousness I have been watching Ida, and looking it's possible impact on our weather next week. My 5 days of Indian Summer on my 7 day forecast has been trimmed back to 4. I personally think the Canadian is going to agressive on it's impact on us next week, but I think even if it is indirectly f […]

Thanks for the updates, Chris! Sounds like the remainder of the year is going to be as unusual as the past 10 months! Looking forward to seeing what you think is going to happen! We had 30 degrees and a BIG frost this morning, and our temp has rebounded nicely to a current 56 under sunny skies! The weekend looks absolutely wonderful! Looking forward to gettin […]

But that GFS map Chris posted, on the other hand, would work out to about 36 degrees that evening. That's more realistic. Heck, we are seeing temps. lower than that already.

So let's see..4 day warm spell, followed by 2 day cold spell, followed by 3 or 4 day warm spell, followed by 3 day cold spell. Looks typical. Of course the models have a 1-2 record so far with these big cold snaps. Looks like a UK football record from the early 2000s. 23 degrees on the evening of the 15th?? Ain't happening.

If that gfs map can actually verify, that'd be great! I am going to soak up the 60s when i get off work because it sounds like they may be heading off for a while!!!
