However, it can completely underdo or overdo precip amounts. The GFS has a problem with the overall track, and flips and flops like a dying fish on a beach with 37 hooks in its gills.I usually take the nam with precip […]Aaron C.

If the 18Z GFS looks similar to the 12Z Euro...then the Euro solution is probably correct. Again, with no blocking to the NE of the U.S, there is nothing to keep the cold in here. The teleconnections across the globe are just not there...yet. Perhaps in January maybe?MJ
